CULIACÁN.- Within the framework of the livestock day, Governor Rubén Rocha Moya, shared the celebration with the members of this primary sector, vital for the economic development of Sinaloa in whom he recognized their contribution to achieving food sovereignty of the state and the country.

Governor Rocha, endorsing his commitment to innovation and livestock strengthening, pointed out that the union is a key force that exalts Sinaloa as a food producer at the national level, despite the difficulties that the sector is going through.

«I congratulate them, I tell them that I will always be with them supporting them so that livestock farming grows Sinaloa it gets better. “Grow in quality and grow in number,” said the president.

For his part, the Secretary of Agriculture and Livestock, Ismael Bello, highlighted the work that this agency maintains in health prevention to avoid the screwworm, as well as the disposition and unity of the union, made up of more than 25 thousand members in the state, which has allowed it to be strengthened for the benefit of thousands of families that depend on this activity.

It should be noted that, strengthening the ties between Sinaloa ranchers, during the celebration, in addition to food, music and a festive atmosphere, four heifers, two registered sheep (sheep/goats), and 300 more gifts were raffled off.

Governor Rocha was accompanied by Rodolfo Valenzuela Sánchez, president of the Board of Directors of the State Congress; José Alfredo Sáinz Aispuro, president of the Regional Livestock Union of Sinaloa; Alfedo Valdez Zazueta, Undersecretary of Livestock; Ramón Gallegos, state undersecretary of Agriculture; Carlos Zazueta Zatarain, secretary of the Livestock Union; Roel García Heredia, representative in Sinaloa from SENASICA; Jesús Vega Acuña, representative of SADER in Sinaloa and deputy Carlos Escobar.
