Mazatlán. – For the Ibarra alley in the Centro neighborhood, bad odors due to wastewater spills have ended. Municipal president Estrella Palacios Domínguez began work to replace all of her damaged plumbing network pipes.
For this project they will invest 1 million 715 thousand 449 pesos, a work that will be carried out by hand due to its complicated structure and difficult access to machinery.
Among the works, they will dig 111.78 linear meters to introduce 72 meters of sanitary pipe, as well as drinking water, they will replace 18 home intakes, 18 manholes and the same number of home discharges.

Palacios Domínguez pointed out the importance of this work that will benefit more than 100 families, who tried in several previous administrations to rehabilitate this work.
“Here we are delivering for the people of this alley, it was a highly requested work… it is with public resources, they are resources from the Municipal Government and it is part of the Work Plan for 2026.”

Eustolia Zamora, a resident of the place, thanked the municipal authorities for this work that will bring them a lot of benefit, especially in terms of health, since there were some cases of diseases, precisely because of how unhealthy it was and the risk they ran.
