México CITY.- The president of the United States, Donald Trump, confirmed that his country launched a military attack against Iran with the aim of destroying its nuclear program, in the midst of Israel’s bombings of Tehran.
Through his social networks, the president detailed that the operation included air and ground attacks to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons that, he said, would put the United States and its citizens around the world at risk.
Although Trump did not confirm whether the bombings – reported near the offices of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei – were specifically directed against him, he asked the population to stay home.
The president of the United States assured that this time they will seek to completely destroy Iran’s nuclear capacity to prevent them from rebuilding their program and manufacturing long-range missiles.

He also called on Iranian soldiers to surrender, promising immunity to those who do so and warning that otherwise they “will die in the attacks.”
The deployment, which according to The Associated Press includes more than 10,000 additional troops, would be the largest US military movement in the Middle East in decades.

For his part, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended the offensive as a preventive action.
After weeks of tensions and failed negotiations, the conflict escalates. Trump asked to pray for the armed forces and called on the Iranians to “take control” of their government.
Iran attacks US bases
Iran expanded its military response after the offensive launched by the United States and Israel against its territory this Saturday morning.
The bombings hit targets in Tehran and other cities such as Tabriz and Isfahan, leaving dozens dead, including 53 girls who were in a school.
In retaliation, Tehran launched at least six waves of missiles into Israeli territory, according to the Israeli military.
Anti-aircraft alarms were activated again in the center of the country, including Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, amid a new regional escalation.
In addition, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard confirmed attacks against US military bases located in Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, expanding the conflict beyond its borders.
