Mazatlán. – June is coming and that only means one thing, the LGBT pride march is coming and in Mazatlán there is already a date for the activities, from the 15th to the 18th of that month, painting the port with colors.
The collective of Sinaloa Diverso has already released the date of the 14th Gay Pride and Sexual Diversity March and they are inviting citizens interested in volunteering, and part of the organization of said march.
This march, they explain on their social networks, will give a voice to those who have been marginalized in society; this year the motto will be “We exist and here we are, for equal rights”, where they will demand attention, respect and recognition to groups of sexual diversity.
In the pride parade, in addition to waving flags, there is color, there is love and there are allegorical floats where a party is lived on the coastal promenade, where the brightness stands out and the phrases of “Love is love” are present.
Traditionally, the march takes place along the entire boardwalk, in 2022 it went from the Sister Cities park to Valentino’s and then ended in an event with Ninel Conde in music, in a concert that set the mood.
The organizers unveiled this year’s image, which consists of a mermaid and different marine species wrapped in the colors of the flag of diversity, red, pink, orange, yellow, green and blue.
So far, they have not revealed what other activities they will include within the month of pride, or which artists they will have as a special guest, however, they have been active in networks inviting them to be part of the march.
