MAZATLÁN._ Several neighborhoods and subdivisions of Mazatlán will be left without a drinking water supply this Wednesday due to a failure in the drinking water distribution network, reported Jumapam.

The state-owned company announced that this Tuesday afternoon there was a failure in the drinking water distribution network and for its repair it will be necessary to turn off the Rebombeo 800, which will affect the supply of the Villas del Rey, Esmeralda, Los Sauces and El Campestre, in addition to the Emiliano Zapata, Salvador Allende, Luis Echeverría, Rincón de Urías neighborhoods, a part of Flores Magón and Fovissste Esperanza.

The Operations Management, through the Flores Magón District, will replace an 8-inch valve, which is in a box located in the vicinity of Fraccionamiento Villas del Rey, from 08:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.

In fact, during the evening the personnel of the Flores Magón District made a provisional repair in the valve box, with the intention that the users who live in the aforementioned neighborhoods take precautions and store water, in case they do not have a water tank. , cistern or cistern, since the cut to the supply will have an estimated duration of 6 hours.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this eventuality and it is recommended to avoid carrying out activities where large amounts of water are used, as well as not wasting it on watering streets or facades.
